About Me
Hello, I'm Christine
I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. This is also where I started my photography journey back in late 2019. I shoot mainly nature and wildlife. Ottawa is surrounded by beautiful large forests, parks, bodies of water, etc. I have learned a lot in my years of photography and have put in quite a few hours, the most crucial element of wildlife photography I would say is persistence and patience, which sometimes means spending endless hours waiting for the right moment.
I find photography to be mind healing, relaxing and provides many peaceful moments where I can spend time learning and observing about nature/wildlife.
I do work full-time in the Health & Safety department for a large construction company, whenever I have some spare time, you can catch me out and about with my camera.
The gear I currently shoot with is a Nikon Z8 camera along with the Nikkor Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR.
